Jaeg’s New Haircut
Jaeg was very much in need of a haircut (I don’t think it’s been cut since summer!)
Yesterday afternoon I cut his hair. We have a very good system in place…we play a movie on a portable DVD player in the kids bathroom. Works beautifully! It’s a treat for Jaeg and when the haircut is over, he goes straight to the tub with his movie still playing (this is the only time this is allowed). Much easier than trying to keep him looking straight, we used to end up having to buzz most of his hair off since it would be cut so unevenly.
Jadyn waits patiently in the hallway while brother gets his hair cut. I tell her that it might be a little while longer before I get to cut her hair. She just grins happily back at me.
After his bath, Jaeg goes to the mirror to check out his new look. He knows he looks good!
But he had better make sure his hair looks good from every possible angle…

Jaeger you are one amazing boy!! I gotta tell you that picture of you bending over to peak at your hair in the mirror is quite impressive. I’m gonna have to try that angle when I get my hair cut next!

Mom wants you to cut my hair but if you do I’m not to sure about checking it out like Jaeg does. Unless I use Craig upside down hanging machine thingy. Could you move the mirror down stairs?

Sorry Mir, I just cut Craig’s hair and he ran into town before I could get the shot.
Niki, we aren’t going to be in Malta for Thanksgiving this year. Bummer!
